About John

John has been a licensed Realtor since 1983 and received his Broker license in 1986. He opened the Arlington/Hwy 64 office as the managing broker for Crye-Leike in 2002. John specializes in residential real estate in Shelby and Fayette County. He currently holds the professional designations of ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative), GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute), RRC (Residential Real Estate Council), and CRB (Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager).

John believes it is important to be active within the real estate industry and stay involved with the Memphis Area Association of Realtors. John has served many capacities at the local board, but the highest honor was serving as the MAAR President in 2002.

John and wife Lauren have four children and one grandson with whom they enjoy spending time with every chance they get. When not selling real estate, they enjoy entertaining friends and family, working out, going to the lake, traveling, and being with family. John also serves on the board for JIFF (Juvenile Intervention and Faith-based Follow up) program in Memphis.

John Criswell did a fantastic job in listing and in selling my home it was on the market for 4 days we had a contract everything went smoothly and on time
John was very compassionate in dealing with me because I have lost my husband and it was our home place of 31 years
I had a lot of Sentimental memories there
John And his his team Did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend them to anyone that is in the need to sell their home or even to buy one not only did he sell my home he helped me to purchase another one
