John DeFoor grew up around the real estate business. He is the eldest son of Broker, Lloyd DeFoor, and is now the Associate Broker at DeFoor Realty. John grew up in the Augusta area and is a graduate of Harlem High School. John was also a builder for ten years, so he can see things on a home that some other realtors may not.

John is married to Christina DeFoor, and they have three children, Loch, Elli, and Baxter. They also have a dog named Louis.
