Most realtors can appear friendly and helpful when they are earning money by working with you. John Herring is, however, helpful and accommodating years after the sale. When he helped me sell my house in 2020, he was the epitome of a professional. So much so that I wished he was licensed in the state where I now live. When I recently asked him to replace paperwork, he responded immediately and was just as gracious as he was when he was selling my house. I wish John Herring could be cloned.

I don't often leave reviews, but John helped us find our dream home in Montana. He worked day and night to show us all over different communities to make sure we would be in the best neighborhood possible for us. My husband and I didn't exactly make it easy, because we were on such a tight budget with an even tighter timelines -right smack dab in the middle of Christmas and New Years. I couldn't be more grateful for all of John's experience in the Missoula Valley. He understood the market and took no time at all understanding what we were looking for. He advised us through the entire process and made it simple. I would recommend John Herring to my family and friends because he was so experienced and available 100 percent of the time. We went through John again to sell that home because he did such a great job getting us into that home. We were sad to move, but had to follow promotional employment down in the South West. I looked at several top real estate agents in the Missoula area when I was ready to sell my home in Missoula's University District.

John Herring ticked all the boxes--intelligent, compassionate, on task, and a savvy negotiator.

John is very personable, and knows how to read Missoula's current real estate market. John also had excellent advice on staging my home for a quick sale. He has a team of top-notch staff to call on, including one of the best real estate photographers in Missoula. But John handles all the important details himself, unlike many real estate firms that pass on tasks to less-experienced staff.

I put my home on the market the week before Christmas in 2019, and in only two days John had arranged 12 showings to prequalified buyers.

We had a firm offer on the second day the house was on the market. A day later we had a signed buy/sell agreement.

John then shifted into closing mode, and within about a month we had worked through the home inspection, home appraisal, final negotiations, and settlement.

I highly recommend John Herring to Missoula sellers looking to get top dollar and a smooth transaction. I could not imagine a more competent, dedicated, energetic real estate agent.

I would gladly work with John Herring again in the future. Hire this man!

Before I found John Herring to sell my mother’s house, I searched multiple databases to identify the best agent to work with. I used a variety of data queries based on size and price of house. My searches repeatedly took me to John. And I am very happy they did. John is a consummate Real Estate professional. His personality will win you over immediately. He knows Montana real estate and especially Missoula. You can find people who will sell your house for lower commissions but watch out - I don’t recommend the “discount” realtor. John worked every angle to sell mom’s house in a market that suddenly slowed down. He uses state-of-the-art technology to keep houses prominent in social media and other online media. I am completely impressed with REMAX and specifically John Herring. Do yourself a favor and do not waste time - contact John now!
