John takes the lead, and Brian supports and assists their client and these 2 conquers anything that comes their way. I had expressed my dream of buying a home with John Lanting for years! YEARS!! However, I wasn’t ready, but it didn't discourage him. He patiently stood by, kept reaching out, and constantly updated what the market looks like. And not to pressure me, and make sure I don't lose the drive, he assigned Brian Jang to help. They took turns, we plowed the market week after week for months! Looked and offered at several homes. It wasn't easy, with the current real estate situation. It was frustrating, and I am about to give up. But they did not. Thank goodness! Brian kept sending me listings, homes that I might like, and what I can afford. TIRELESSLY!!

And then, I finally I found my dream home, however, my approved loan wasn’t enough. The seller gave us a deadline to submit our offer, for a very short time. The line was long! I reached out to my bank loan officer, I asked if there is a way to increase my approved loan amount. After emails, phone calls, and texts, my previous loan officer did not respond. Well, he did, but not until the next day. That was a nerve-wracking ordeal. That day, I shared my dilemma with John and Brian. He immediately contacted another lender. In an hour, this new guy was able to provide what was needed. I consulted John, my go-to person, and he assured me that this guy was a very astute mortgage person. If he can't, nobody can!

In 12 days, we closed! WE MADE IT!!

Then, all of a sudden, I was having buyer’s remorse. I am having cold feet. I went back to John Lanting as I normally would, and expressed my fears. John is not just a realtor to us, he is a friend, a brother. He went above and beyond. Walked me through the house again, and pointed out the pros and cons, what needs to be worked on in this house, and its potential. This was all critical in my decision-making. He assured me should I decide to buy the house, his help doesn’t end there, he and Brian will be with me every step of the way.

Going into the housing market as a first time home buyer was extremely intimidating and nerve wrecking. Right off the bat, John took the time to educate me on strategy, what I would be up against, the current state of the market, definitions and processes, and answering all of my unanswered questions. John appointed me to Brian, his colleague who had the experience with the type of loan I was working with and is VERY efficient with the process meanwhile steering things along. My wife and I were referred to John and his team by our first Loan Agent, we were looking to move to Sacramento from the Bay Area. My first impression of John was that he was nice and knowledgeable, professional, and on top of stuff. After having a terrible experience with our initial lenders which almost lead to us losing our home John set us up with an amazing Lending Agent that he trusted and had worked with many times. Through the entirely horrific process of our first lenders John truly kept our best interest as first time buyers in mind. John Lanting has helped us obtain 2 properties and I wish I had gone to him sooner. I had purchased a second property over a year back and had just noticed that I am missing (probably misplaced it somewhere) the title/deed of that property. I texted John and ask if he could email me the deed of the property I bought over a year ago. After all the pleasantries, John quickly sprung into action, making calls and sending emails.
