John Powell

Powell, who is also a Lifetime Achievement Award winner from the Southside Virginia Association of Realtors and a four-time recipient of the Realtor of the Year award from VAR, Richmond Association of Realtors, and SVAR twice, has been in real estate for over 30 years, serving the Virginia Beach, Virginia Eastern Shore, Williamsburg, and Richmond Metro Areas communities. He also received the Virginia Association of Realtors Manager of the Year Award in 2005 and has been involved in numerous capacities with the National Association of Realtors, including its Board of Directors.

In addition, Powell has been appointed to numerous housing-related task forces by former Virginia governors Tim Kane and Bob McDonnell, and he has also served as the president of VAR, SVAR, and the Central Virginia Regional Multiple Listing Service. He boasts numerous professional designations, including Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager, Certified Residential Specialist, and Graduate of the Realtors Institute.
