John Swartz

John Swartz embraced the Breckenridge mountain lifestyle after graduating from Colorado College in 1971. Originally from New England, John knew Breckenridge was where he wanted to build his life after visiting during college. He immediately achieved his Colorado Real Estate Brokers Designation and began sharing this coveted mountain oasis with other mountain and outdoor enthusiasts. John started his real estate career in 1971 and joined Paffrath and Thomas in 1981, as one of our most experienced brokers. John has worked with many international clients, was Vice President of the Summit Association of Realtors and is a Broker Emeritus – that’s more than 40 years of continuous service in the industry. He enjoys working with locals, discerning 2nd home owners and everyone in between all the while bringing a high level of expertise to every transaction. He is also very active outside of the office. When he isn’t helping clients you’ll likely find him golfing, cycling, or in the winter, rondo skiing, swimming, snowshoeing, and racquetball. His roots in Breckenridge includes raising two remarkable daughters, son-in-laws, and 4 grandchildren who also call Colorado their home.
