I would highly recommend John Wakefield of Long and Foster in Greenville, DE. He returned all phone calls and emails the same day. I found John to be a highly attentive agent, almost as if I was his only customer. He returned all phone calls and emails the same day. I never felt neglected or unimportant. Even after the sale and settlement of my condo, he was available to answer and provide help with questions I had. He is also highly personable with an engaging personality.

I am a native New Yorker and relocated to Wilmington, DE in March 2017. I decided to rent for six months to ensure that I would enjoy living in Wilmington. Shortly after relocating, I had been introduced to John Wakefield. Just as I was about to hit the six month mark, I decided that I wanted to remain in Wilmington. It was time to start looking for a home, so I contacted John. After explaining to John what I was looking for, he introduced me to areas of the city which I had not been familiar with. We explored all options and viewed several properties. With John's professional guidance, I finally decided to place an offer on a property, which was only 3 1/2 blocks from my rental. John did extensive market analysis on the area and we went over the comps together. We were both on the same page on what I wanted to pay for the property. He sharpened his pencil and went to work with heavy negotiations. After a couple of days going back and forth, he was able to get my price. Absolutely no money was left on the table. He did an extraordinary job working with the property inspectors and following up with each and every detail all the way through to settlement. At settlement / closing, John pulled out a three ring binder, which was extremely neat and well organized. John had my deal at his fingertips with each document neatly in the binder. I was extremely impressed, as after all of John's hard work, I was expecting a worn somewhat disarrayed file. John went way over the call of duty. I was not the easiest client to deal with; however, John always maintained the highest level of professionalism. Even at the most stressful moments, John was always calm, cool, and collected. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management. I had specialized in organizational behavior and diagnosis for many years, so I often give constructive criticism and feedback. I just could not find any flaw in John Wakefield's professionalism. John even followed up on moving day, ensuring that I was satisfied with my purchase. John Wakefield has proven that he consistently strives excellence. The only thing I can do is give him the absolute highest recommendation. Whether you are buying or selling a property, John Wakefield is the only Realtor for optimum results.
