John Zarvos is the Founder of Viking International Real Estate. John earned his real estate salesperson license in 1974 and his broker's license four years later. He now has over 46 years experience in the real estate market. As a principal, John has owned a number of apartment, commercial, and residential properties throughout the country. Prior to founding Viking International in 1983, John attended Iowa State University where he was a member of their national championship gymnastics team. Following his time at Iowa State, John began working at a worldwide marketing company eventually becoming one of their youngest instructors in the country. During this time, John traveled throughout the world, living in Hong Kong and the Philippines, but ultimately returning to the States. Upon his return, John became a top producer for an Automotive Additive Oil Company, earning top-ranking status nationwide for the State of Ohio.
John was born of Greek descent, raised in the suburbs of West Chicago, and currently resides in Newport Beach, CA. He is a proud father of three, grandfather of eight, and godfather of two. When not involved with his business, John enjoys spending his free time traveling the world, scuba diving exotic locations, riding his motorcycles, touring, archery, and target pistol shooting.
