Jonathan Danton

A San Francisco Bay Area native, Jon first came to Colorado as a student at the University of Colorado Boulder. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology in the spring of 2004, and then moved to San Diego California, where he would spend the next 11 years, launch his real estate career, and meet his wife-to-be. In 2007 Jon joined Voit Real Estate Services, one of California’s most respected regional commercial real estate firms. For the next 8 years Jon worked as an industrial specialist, representing entrepreneurial business and property owners in the sale and lease of industrial buildings in Central San Diego. While there, he learned the value of being a true market expert, earning a reputation with his clients and peers for professionalism, integrity, market knowledge, and attention to detail. As an agent for major institutional property owners, Jon was responsible for creating and executing target marketing programs to keep millions of square feet of industrial space leased. As an advocate for local business owners, he structured lease and sale transactions that fit the operational and growth needs of local business owners. Jon’s efforts earned him numerous accolades including Voit’s coveted Rising Star Award and Voit’s Rookie of the Year. While Jon’s years in San Diego were productive and fulfilling, his love for Colorado never lost its pull. In 2014, he and his wife followed their hearts by pulling up stakes and moving back to Colorado to begin their next life adventure. They settled into their new home in Golden, just west of Downtown Denver with their son and golden retriever. Since, they’ve added two more dogs to the family and stay busy enjoying Colorado’s outdoor lifestyle. Jon is an expert skier, avid snowboarder, golfer, and mountain biker. Some favorite spots for adventure include Breckenridge, Beaver Creek, and exploring the trails along the Foothills into Evergreen. Jon’s real estate and marketing background were soon put back in play when he joined RE/MAX, LLC as the Commercial Brand Manager at the World Corporate Headquarters in the Denver Tech Center. In his role there, he supported hundreds of RE/MAX office owners in the development of their commercial operations, including the coordination of networking events, the creation of marketing programs along with collateral materials, and analytical tools specific to commercial real estate. To LIV Sotheby’s International Realty, Jon brings his passion for real estate, his strong desire to serve others, and a broad base of business skills he uses to help his clients make the most informed real estate decisions. Above all, he values the building of long term relationships through his service-first approach and his ability to engender the trust and respect of his clients and peers.
