My husband and I were first-time home buyers and we were looking for someone with lots of experience and patience. We were really nervous about the process and did not know where to begin. After interviewing multiple agents, we came across Jose on Yelp. Right from the first phone call, he made feel at ease and educated us on the home buying process. He gave us resources and helped us figure out what type of home we wanted. At no point did he pressure us and always made himself available to show us homes. He shared his expertise and taught us how to be smart home shoppers. When we were ready to make an offer, we were bidding against another couple and Jose helped us negotiate a great price. The agent selling the home we purchased was nasty, unprofessional, and always late on deadlines. Jose handled her lack of professionalism with grace and really advocated for us to get the home. On August 2020, we purchased a beautiful townhome in Fremont. We are really happy with our purchase and could not have done it without him. Jose took very good care of us and to this day, he sends us personalized video reminders of what to expect next as home owners.

I have known Jose Diaz for about 28 years. He has sold a number of homes in my area. He KNOWS the community. Jose helped me get my house ready for sale and two days after it went on the market I received 10 offers and accepted one for $55,000 over list price. It closed in three weeks.
Needless to say, I would recommend Jose Diaz to anyone interested in selling a home.

I encountered Jose Diaz while inquiring about a property that I was interested. It ended up getting sold before my wife and I had a chance to view it, but Jose called me to inform me it was no longer available. At the time, my wife and I really weren't seriously looking to purchase a home. I relayed that to Jose, and he gave me some advice on how to go about purchasing a home. He wasn't pushy at all even when I told him we weren't seriously in the market, but he gave me advice anyways. His knowledge of the market in Hayward is what won us over when I first spoke with him. Although we weren't actively searching for homes, Jose's knowledge and experience was apparent from our first conversation. And knowing that interest rates were low at the time my wife and I decided to get pre-approved to see what it would lead us to. It was very evident that we would need Jose's expertise in our search for our fist home. Jose was very friendly throughout our search and was never in a rush to get us to view as many homes as possible. Again, his knowledge and experience was showcased whenever we would view a home in a particular neighborhood. We were very fortunate and I thank God that we crossed paths with Jose. I know that this isn't the norm but we contacted Jose in mid May 2020, and we placed a bid on a home for the first time and it was accepted in the first of week of June 2020. We were able to purchase a home in under a month all thanks to Jose. Again I realize that most people will not be able to purchase a home on their first bid, but we took Jose's advice on how to approach our bid price. He gave us a simple tip on the bid price and what to offer as a deposit, and it ended up paying off by placing the winning bid! Anyone looking to purchase a home in the East Bay should definitely give Jose Diaz a chance. He'll make you feel comfortable and treat you like his only client throughout the process. His biggest asset is definitely his knowledge of the market and his experience is evident. To top it off, you'll never feel like your being rushed to purchase/place a bid on a home. Thank you Jose, it was a pleasant experience from start to finish all thanks to you!

I live out of town and didn't know who to call for my mothers trust sell for the family home, but I could not have picked a better realtor and impeccable person!!! It was a stressful time and he simply said let me earn my commission and take the stress away from me, words that were so true. Jose went above his responsibility and made a As is Sell into a thing of beauty and made the sell in 3 days.
Jose has the experience, knowledge and personality that you don't find with most people anymore. Anyone that's looking for a realtor will be treated as you are the only person he is working for.

What a great job!
