If you're looking for a partner in the real estate search, I'd definitely recommend Joe Stitcher. Joe's helped me find a great place to live twice now: first with an apartment search, and then with a home search. He knows the west side neighborhoods really well, which helped out as we were touring. Going into house hunting, I knew roughly the area I wanted to look at, my budget, and some key must-haves, but otherwise was fairly open. Joe took my info, made a search map, and booked appointments. He kept an eye out on neighborhoods I hadn't heard of, but thought might be a good fit. We toured open houses together with Joe at the wheel, and sometimes simply drove by a house to get a sense of it before the tour. He was great at explaining any questions I had, and playing devil's advocate to help me rule things out when it made sense.

When we finally found a great place and put an offer down, Joe was able to talk offer strategies with me as we went through the process together, and as we went through escrow he explained all of the forms I had to sign and what they were for. When my escrow threatened to span across his pre-planned Labor Day weekend vacation, Joe partnered with a backup realtor to make sure inspections kept rolling and questions got answered. Despite this, we still closed early, and under budget.

Where do I begin? Joe treated me like family. He helped me navigate the LA housing market during the craziest time ever. With Joe’s expertise and local neighborhood knowledge, he helped me carefully navigate the process from start to finish. He patiently walked me through several neighborhoods, each with its own set of circumstances, until I found a home I fell in love with near my family and near public transportation. He was awesome dealing with the seller’s agent and helped save me some money in negotiations. I highly recommend Joe to anyone in the housing market. This was my first (nearly) pain free home buying experience! (Not counting LA housing costs) Joe was a big factor. 5 Stars for Joe !
