Juanita's introduction to the real estate industry began in 1987, with Farmers Home Administration, USDA. While working with FmHA she learned how to service delinquent loans. During her time there she was responsible for reducing the delinquency rate from an approaching 10% to 2.9%, one of the lowest in the nation. Juanita was able to maintain a good rapport with the delinquent borrowers.
Next she became a of US Bank’s, Community Lending Division. She was employed as a Secretary then moved to a Loan Processor and learned the details of that position which helped her move up to a Loan Officer. While working in the Community Lending Division of US Bank she gained knowledge about the Community Reinvestment Act. She was able to gain a greater understanding of the lending and servicing side of real estate.
Juanita was encouraged to pursue her real estate license and join the team at Goree and Thompson Real Estate, Inc. She has been employed here since 1997. She has learned the full circle of real estate, from the beginning to the end and has been taught by a well experienced broker whose passion for real estate shines in her actions and day to day dealings.
Working close with our reliable agents and staff is like working with a close knit family. While here Juanita has been able to help market properties and build good working relationships with our corporate clients, vendors and other agents. Working here has brought a greater sense and desire to help others. She has been able to help in giving back to community by organizing donations to our favorite charities. Juanita am honored to be a part of a company that is able to help others obtain their dream of home ownership.
