Karen Ryan

Karen Ryan, Broker Associate and Area Manager Lowcountry is the former Broker/Owner of Weichert, Realtors® - Coastal Properties. As the Area Manager Lowcountry she oversees over 150 Realtors in five offices located in Hilton Head, Bluffton, Beaufort, Sun City and Savannah.

Karen routinely ranks in the top Realtors in sales and listings sold in the area and holds the designations Accredited Luxury Home Specialist, ABR, ePro, and SFR, Resort and Second Home Specialist. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in Biology.

Karen was the founding President of Women’s Council of Realtors Lowcountry in 2022 & 2023 and she has served on the Hilton Head Island/Bluffton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Hilton Head Area Association Board of Directors where she was 2011 President. She is a past President of the Zonta Club of HHI, and past Chairman of The Children's Center Board of Directors where she served for 9 years.

Karen’s awards include the 2017 Mary Dean Brewer Women of Distinction, The Hilton Head Area Association of Realtors 2005 Realtors® of the Year and the 2005 Hilton Head Island/Bluffton Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Woman of the Year.

Long time Hilton Head Island residents Joe and Karen raised their two children on the island and have called it home for over 32 years.
