Karen Ryan

Karen Ryan is the Broker/Owner of Weichert, Realtors® - Coastal Properties along with her husband, Joe. As Managing Brokers, together they oversee over 180 Realtors in five offices located in Hilton Head, Bluffton, Beaufort, Sun City and Savannah.

Karen routinely ranks in the top Realtors in sales and listings sold in the area and holds the designations Accredited Luxury Home Specialist, ABR, ePro, and SFR, Resort and Second Home Specialist. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in Biology.

Karen currently serves on the Hilton Head Island/Bluffton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Hilton Head Area Association Board of Directors where she was 2011 President. She is also Past president of the Zonta Club of HHI, and past Chairman of The Children's Center Board of Directors where she served for 9 years.

Karen’s awards include the 2017 Mary Dean Brewer Women of Distinction, The Hilton Head Area Association of Realtors 2005 Realtors® of the Year and the 2005 Hilton Head Island/Bluffton Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Woman of the Year.

Long time Hilton Head Island residents Joe and Karen raised their two children on the island and have called it home for over 26 years.
