About Ken
Ken Snyder joined Keller Williams Realty Boston-Metro in September of 2006 after 4 successful years at RE/MAX. Working with both buyers and sellers, Ken has successfully closed transactions worth over $200 Million since entering the real estate field. Ken consistently ranks at the top of all Keller Williams agents in New England. Even better, 85% of his business regularly comes from previous clients and people they referred to Ken.
A 33-year resident of Boston, Ken has owned numerous properties including several townhouses in the South End, a loft in a historic chocolate factory in Dorchester, and a dozen other homes over the years many of which he has renovated.
Ken is active in a number of local and national philanthropic organizations and neighborhood associations in both Boston and Newport. He is a longtime supporter of GLAD, the Fenway Community Health Center, and the Human Rights Campaign’s Federal Club. In Newport, Ken is the President of the Point Neighborhood Association and a supporter of the Aquidneck Land Trust, The Preservation Society of Newport County, The Newport Preservation Society, The Newport Historic Society, and more.
Prior to real estate, Ken enjoyed a successful career in technology and customer management consulting. His experience included building and running global consulting practices at Hewlett-Packard and Cambridge Technology Partners, where he sold and delivered multi-million-dollar customer management projects. His clients included LL Bean, Fleet Bank, and British Telecom, amongst many others. Ken’s focus on delivering superb customer service was initially developed during his nine years running IT management at The Boston Consulting Group, one of the top global management consulting firms.
Ken holds a BA in Economics from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, and when not at work in Boston can be found in historic Bristol Rhode Island.
