Ken retired from the Timber industry in the winter of 2013, and after taking a few years off, decided to join his wife and the great team at The Neil Company Real Estate. He spent most of his working life as a logger and later as a Log Yard/Barker Superintendent. Through the years, he witnessed a lot of change in logging as well as mill technology, and was fortunate to work for a company that had the foresight to make changes and continued to excel in the industry.
He went to school in Roseburg first grade through twelfth grade, graduated in 1966, and married his high school sweetheart a couple years later. They have three awesome daughters and after over 47 years his wife still puts up with him!!! He coached High School softball and summer softball for about 10 years and had the opportunity to watch many of these young ladies grow into productive young women and mothers. He enjoys spending time with his grandkids, whether it's watching them play ball or just hanging out. He likes camping, going to the cabin at the Lake (Tenmile), working with wood, or working in the shop on his old cars. He looks forward to learning a new profession and working with the people in Roseburg and Douglas County.
