Kevin Russell

Kevin Russell initially developed an interest in real estate while watching his older brother develop large multifamily apartments at a national level. He holds an Advertising degree from the University of Illinois and found himself with a desire to work in hospitality soon after completing university. He has held various guest service positions with Hilton, Fairmont and the Four Seasons brand of hotels/residences. Kevin was able to take the skills he learned in hospitality to a role with the sales team at the Austin Proper Residence. This in turn gave him a glimpse into the development world of real estate in Austin. Soon after exiting from the Proper, Kevin arrived at the Hubbard Group and has since successfully completed various remodels in Austin with an emphasis on multifamily housing. He is currently working on a 48 unit condo development project near the Domain to be completed by mid 2023.

Kevin is a former endurance athlete with multiple Ironman finishes. He is a 2X Boston marathon finisher and 3x NYC marathon qualifier. He knows and understands what it means to start something and to see it through to the completion at a high level, whether that be a race or the buying and selling of a home. He meets every transaction with diligence. Kevin operates his business by the "Golden Rule" and has an understanding of the overall Austin market and its many communities. His strengths lie in communication and relationship building. Kevin lives in South Austin with his wife Sara and two children. He has an old grumpy bulldog named Earl. He enjoys family time, camping, boating, old cars and motorcycles.
