I now believe in miracles. Together, Kim and John, and their firm Main Street Real Estate, achieved what many realtors before them had attempted without success~ they sold my mother-in-law’s house. This splendid custom-built, hilltop home had been listed for several million dollars four years previously, but had idled on the market in spite the efforts of several different agencies and agents. When Mahomet couldn’t get to the mountain, Kim and John brought the mountain to Mahomet.

The fault lay not in the property itself~ this was a very rare mountain estate on 25 acres overlooking the Harpeth River minutes from the heart of Belle Meade. It was a beloved family retreat and reflected that. Three generations of family called it home along with their three dogs and one cat, none of whom could readily clear out for viewings. Staging the interiors was not even a remote possibility as it was chock-a-block with 30 years of memories and treasured momentos.

And then came the miracle: Kim recognized that challenging conditions call for innovative solutions. Nobody in the family had the heart for more showings and my mother-in-law was eager to downsize into her new home purchased several years earlier and standing empty since. Kim had a prior client whom she knew would just love the estate… but wasn’t in the market for a new home. Not a problem. Kim picked up the phone anyway, and that is how, with one call, Kim sold the house almost overnight to the perfect buyer. And that is why our family recommends Main Street Real Estate for all of your family’s real estate needs.
