I used Kristina Delgado of the McLaurin Realty Group to buy my very first home in Charlotte this past summer and she was magnificent.

She came highly recommended from a realtor friend of mine that did not operate in the area and she certainly did not disappoint. The chips were stacked up against the deal; I was a first time home buyer, looking in a sellers’ market area (properties were selling on the order of a few days!!), and I did not live in the city I was buying in. To make matters more difficult I switched jobs mid deal (do not do this if you do not have to!!) and, oh yeah, COVID-19 was in full swing. Due to COVID-19 and not living in the city my ability to travel was limited, so I entrusted her 100% to do my deal virtually. Kristina handled everything, from finding the property to closing the deal, with such pose and grace that I never felt the need to worry. From video chatting with me at each property of interest to helping me identify a quality lender, lawyer, and inspectors. As a first time home buyer, that was not able to visible see what I was buying, I had an abundance of questions! She always found a way to settle my anxiety and ensured that I felt comfortable every step of the way. She walked me through the basics of how a deal is done and made sure I was knowledgeable of every decision that needed to be made and why. No question was a dumb question. She handled my deal with pristine professionalism and was always punctual with deadlines and appointments while being very attentive to my calls, text, and emails.

To summarize the deal, we closed the deal under 30 days, slightly under market price, with a conventional loan with ~3% down. As I write this message in my new home months afterwards, I am still highly pleased with my experience. I would recommend the McLaurin Realty Group, particularly, Kristina Delgado to anyone looking to purchase a home. I realize that it can be scary, difficult, and stressful purchasing a home, but I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience or a more astute realtor.
