Kurt Rogers was born in Newport News, Virginia at Riverside hospital as the youngest of five siblings. Born and raised in the local area and attending elementary, middle and high school in the Newport News Public School System, Kurt is tailor-made for buyers and sellers in the Coastal Virginia area.
After graduation, Kurt left the Peninsula to attend George Mason University in Northern Virginia. With a degree in education, he returned home and began teaching year-round at a Virginia State Behavioral Health Center. After a few years of teaching Kurt decided he wanted to give back to his community in a different way and made the career switch into real estate where he linked up with an amazing team here in the Coastal VA area.
Coming from a family full of Fire Fighters and medics – service runs in Kurt’s blood. A community guy at heart, he has always been a part of local activities. He grew up swimming for the GPSA here in Newport News, which later led him to coaching for a nearby association. He was also a trailblazer of the first EVER high school rugby league here in the 757.
Kurt Rogers is organized, dedicated and meticulous. As a former educator, he shifted his efforts outside the realm of a classroom and into the real world, where he could pour his passion into educating clients on how to make the best decision and take the best approach when buying or selling real estate here on the Virginia coast.
