Laura Pallin’s diverse background in real estate spans the last 17 years. She became a permanent resident of San Francisco in 2012 after frequent visits to admire the architecture, topography, music, art and culture. She now sells luxury residential properties in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Laura got her start in San Francisco real estate in luxury residential leasing. Cognizant of rents surmounting mortgage payments, she began helping tenants become buyers and purchase homes. She also started representing landlords in the sale of their investments as the San Francisco market continued to favor sellers. Laura can take the fear and guessing out of the market with her in depth knowledge of property types, community and professional resources, market trends, micro-neighborhoods, as well as connections to experts in the business.

Laura is known to seamlessly acclimate buyers to the San Francisco market, whether they are first-time buyers, or experienced buyers who are new to the city. A healthy understanding of the San Francisco buyer translates to smooth transactions, favorable terms and maximum profit for sellers she represents. She finds even seasoned buyers and sellers need guidance in understanding the city’s real estate related idiosyncrasies. Raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Laura was the editor of her school newspaper and literary magazine. Drawn to the verdant landscape of the Pacific Northwest, she sharpened her writing skills at the University of Oregon, earning a B.A. in journalism. After graduation and a short stint at a marketing company, her love for architecture and interest in urban infill motivated her to get her real estate license in Oregon. She worked in commercial real estate in Portland for ten years where she honed skills in project management and negotiating.

Laura’s personal interests are vast. An avid city explorer, she lives on the border of North Beach and Russian Hill near some of the best of the city’s history, like City Lights Bookstore and Vesuvio Café, hang outs for the Beat Poets. Laura is passionate about health and exercise, favoring hikes to Coit Tower, Lands’ End and runs on the Embarcadero over time at the gym. You also might find her out dancing to live music at places like the Great Northern or the Warfield. She loves to read and believes it’s the Golden Age of Television. She also has a special interest in green building and sustainability, along with volunteer work in her profession. She has filled various leadership roles in the San Francisco Association of Realtors.
