About Laurence

Lifelong Texan raised in Dallas/Ft Worth. After high school he attended Texas A&M on a Track and Cross-Country Scholarship. Working odd jobs for real estate agents exposed him to a career he had never considered. Getting paid to help people fulfill their dreams for home ownership was a perfect fit for him as a real estate agent. He attended every real estate class and seminar he could. In his zeal to become a successful agent, he attended Investor Seminars, Staging Home Seminars, Buyer Agent Seminars, you name it he was there. His true education came in the real world. He soon learned that not all real estate agents and home builders shared his Christian values that he was raised on, nor his work ethic. It was from those early experiences he became determined he would serve his clients with absolute trust, honesty, challenging work and with the highest degree of professionalism that he could deliver. He has found that putting his client’s needs ahead of your own is not only good ethics but a wonderful way to run a business. He has worked as a mortgage broker, listing agent, investor, and builder. These experiences allowed him to see the real estate transaction from various points of view and helped shape his negotiating skills. Recently, he used a variety of tactics such as following the 80/20 principle, using throwaways, deadlines that stop listing agents from shopping his clients offers and negotiating a fix and flip with a bank foreclosure. He has found this statement to be true, “find something that you love to do, and you will never work another day in your life!” Real Estate is his passion. He loves making his clients dreams a reality. It does not matter to him if it is a 1st time home buyer or a retired couple buying their dream vacation home. The satisfaction is the same. When he is not working, he enjoys golfing, hiking, cross country skiing, downhill skiing, fishing, and hunting. About anything that can be done outdoors.
