I was raised in the Midwest and moved to Colorado over 20 years ago to embrace the healthy lifestyle and progressive mindset. I began my real estate career in 1999 as a manager of a large portfolio of properties in Boulder county and a as real estate investor. During this time, I earned a master's degree in counseling at Colorado State University.
Since 2005 I have been a realtor with RE/MAX of Boulder, the eight-time No. 1 RE/MAX office in the U.S. I am proud to work at a office that sets such high standards for its realtors. I continue to manage my rental properties, and through years of experience, I have developed an extensive knowledge of the local market, including area rents, property values, and long-term trends. This knowledge is beneficial to my investor-clients who seek to diversify their portfolios in the Boulder real estate market.
As a buyer's agent, I am known for my determination to find the right property at the best value. To accomplish this, I work hard to identify off-market opportunities for my clients, and I have been successful crafting contracts that give you the best chance of getting the home. This approach is necessary in today's competitive market.
Throughout my career I have learned that my educational background in counseling is highly beneficial to my profession. More than most, I understand the stresses that are involved in buying or selling a home, and I focus on making the process as stress-free for you as possible. I genuinely care about each of my clients, and this is evidenced by the fact that 95% of my business comes from past clients and client referrals.
To show my gratitude for my success, I donate a portion of my earnings to Guiding Eyes or the Blind, the local Humane Society and the Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue where I adopted Harley, my loyal and mischievous black Labrador retriever.
