Leigh is the consummate professional. She takes her job very seriously and makes it a point to know everything and everyone in real estate. My husband and I were buying during a very stressful time. Leigh was not only our agent, she was also our advocate, supporter and cheerleader. The Leigh-ism that we love the most is that she “doesn’t have any homeless clients”. If you are buying or selling a house, do yourself a huge favor and hire Leigh Rossi Doukas to help you. From house hunting, to offers, to closing, to recommendations for movers, Leigh will be on top of every detail. We hired Leigh after she came to give an estimate on our parent's home. Of all the realtors to come through that day Leigh stood out as she noticed EVERYTHING about the house; the less obvious good things as well as the flaws to the smallest detail. She knew as much about that house in 30 minutes as we did. We were impressed by her clear expertise in the various structures and mechanisms that make up a house, her calm, confident and professional demeanor and her thoughtful comments on how best our family should proceed. She cared that it went well for us and we felt that. We knew we could trust her to "see" what we might miss when the time came for us to choose our own home! We came to trust Leigh very quickly. We were buyers who weren't sure what we wanted, or even where we wanted to live and she guided us with patience and sound advice. We asked her questions about everything and she answered them clearly and quickly. Despite our thousand questions, we never had to wait long for a detailed and useable answer. Perhaps the best part was that she was on top of all parts of our purchase, texting us and emailing us to gently remind us of deadlines and paperwork, and we trusted her to have our back at all points of the process. Although the sale is done and we are in our new home, we still go to Leigh asking for advice and referrals. She remains receptive and helpful - she knows her business and has helped us get through this journey with the complete confidence that we bought the right house and we know how to take care of it. My wife and I cannot recommend Leigh enough to first-time homebuyers anywhere within the I-495 belt.

We were referred to Leigh by a colleague. We had
previously worked with another agent at a different agency who
did not offer nearly as much support as Leigh. It was extremely important
to us to find a broker who would help us along with this process
as first time home buyers making the largest purchase of our
lives.

Leigh voluntarily came with us to every open house and was
very helpful in letting us know ahead of time and on location
what would and may not fit our goals at each property. She
pointed out work that would need to be done and helpful aspects
of the communities to consider such as taxes, water access, and
sewage. She will tell you what you need to hear, which sometimes isn't what you want to hear, but will potentially save you years of heartache.

She was very helpful in advising us on our offers, never
making us feel uncomfortable but giving us the knowledge we
needed to make solid, informed offers. Leigh kept up with our
lawyer and lender to be sure they were on track with tasks that
as first time home buyers we could have easily overlooked.
Leigh kept everything moving smoothly, keeping us in the loop
and calm the whole time. She was the very best part of our
home buying experience.

We cannot stress enough how grateful we were to have Leigh
as our agent, especially as first time home buyers. Leigh could
write a book on how to create a thorough and personal home
buying experience. I hope she is able to mentor newer realtors
who may lack some of that skill (we're 30 so we are part of that
generation, we know! But there is something to be said for a
more face-to-face relational approach when you're devoting
most of your life savings to something!). We will be referring ALL
of our friends and family directly to Leigh as soon as they are in
the market for a home!
