Leslie Patterson

Leslie is an experienced agent in the Ithaca real estate market. Prior to her real estate career, Leslie studied biology at West Virginia University before transferring to Frostburg State University, where she garnered a degree in English Literature (with a minor in biology) in 1988. She worked as a technical writer for Hughes Network Systems in Washington, D.C., and as a marketing writer for Policy Management Systems Corporation in Columbia, South Carolina, before coming to Cornell as a trailing spouse in 1995. For twelve years, Leslie spent her days writing about the birds, the lawyers, and the computers at Cornell.

Leslie shares her home in Ithaca with her sons, Tristan and Aidan, and with her pets—two Alaskan Malamutes named Qimme and Stevie and the cats, Milo and Jimmy.
A runner at heart, Leslie squeezes in a run with her dogs whenever possible. She’s quite proud of finishing a local triathlon, Utica’s famous BoilerMaker run, the Chenango Forks 15K and the Maine half-marathon, since turning 40.

Leslie loved working with her Realtor, and now she tries to do just that every day for her clients. “I love working with my clients because I care, I listen and I study the market. If I don’t know the answer, I’ll find out. Because when buying or selling a house, it’s about your needs.”
