Leyla Steele is known for her exceptional knowledge, focus, strategy, energy, negotiation skills, service, analytics, and intuition. Forming the Boulder Luxury Group was a natural progression from her extensive personal experience in real estate. Born in NY and raised in California, she has lived in such vibrant and beautiful communities as Telluride, Nantucket, Santa Barbara, Mill Valley, as well as Portland and Camden, Maine, providing her with decades of experience in buying, selling, relocating, remodeling and 1031 exchanges.
As a former production manager for films and commercials, Leyla’s job was to land in a new city or town and within 24 hours know it better than most locals. Using the same skills in real estate, she is resourceful, creative and energetic in helping her clients solve whatever puzzle needs solving. She prides herself on exemplary customer service and encyclopedic knowledge of the properties, schools and neighborhoods.
Leyla first received her real estate license in 2002 while in Maine. Prior to moving to Boulder in 2007, she served as the Executive Director of the Blue Planet Run Foundation, planning the first-ever relay run around the world to raise awareness and funds for safe-drinking water. Leyla and her husband Mark live in north central Boulder with their daughter, and own a home in Telluride. The family enjoys traveling, hiking, foraging for mushrooms & berries, bodysurfing, skiing, and cooking their meals together.
Leyla graduated with honors from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Economics in 1981 with an emphasis on International Economics and Languages. She is fluent in Russian.
