Linda Averett

Experience
Linda opened her first business, a retail health food store, at the age of 21. Eventually, she owned seven retail stores with her husband Stan. There she produced and marketed, nationally and internationally, a line of gourmet foods and attained extensive experience in sales, advertising, marketing and negotiating.

She was recently acknowledged as the 1st Place Individual Realtor in the state of Nevada for sales. She also has earned the Chairman’s Club distinction, the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a RE/MAX agent. This places her among the top 1% of all agents in the Southwest division (which includes all Southwestern states). Recently Linda was ranked 72 for sales worldwide with Re/Max and 1st for an individual agent in the state of Nevada. Named Top Ten Women in Real Estate in 2015 by the Women’s Council of Realtors®

Linda is proficient in buying and selling existing homes, vacant land, investment property, 1031 exchanges and new home subdivisions.

Education
Linda attended Reno elementary, middle and high schools, and also studied accounting at the University of Nevada, Reno. Today she is a fully licensed REALTOR®, and has completed her continuing education in law, ethics, marketing and sales. She has earned Graduate Realtor’s Institute as well as the Certified Residential Specialist certification and the Short Sales and Foreclosures Resource certification. She has also studied production, internet marketing, 1031 exchanges, title and escrow and financing.

Professional Affiliations
Linda is a member of the Reno/Sparks Association of Realtor Legislative Committee, the National Association of Realtors®, and the Northern Nevada Regional MLS. She is also a member in volunteer and civic organizations including the Junior League of Reno and Saint Mary’s Hospital Guild.
