Linda Knebel

She is a native Texan and has been in Austin for 45 years. She graduated from the University of Texas in 1986. She loves this city and have seen Austin grow to a place she would never have believed possible. She appreciates the growth and has learned so much being in the Real Estate World, and she is thrilled to be a Realtor with JB Goodwin.

She retired from American Airlines as a Flight Attendant and continues to love traveling. She was on the Founding Team as Director of Sales for Open Arms, where they hired Refugee Women and paid them a living wage to make apparel out of recycled materials.

She opened Surachi Designs, where we created Caps and Visors for the Outdoor Active Woman, this was created because of the multiple skin cancers Linda endured on her face and body from growing up in the Sunshine City of Austin and wanting to help others to protect themselves from the sun rays. She loves the outdoors and continue to play Tennis, Pickleball, Stand Up Paddle Boarding, Hiking, Water & Snow Skiing.

She is on the Board of Directors at Brookwood in Georgetown, and has a passion for the Citizens at BIG and for Special Needs children and adults. She is a member of The Assistance League of Austin, has been a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and was President of Lake Pointe HOA Board of Directors at Lake Pointe Neighborhood where they have lived for 24 years. She had the parks built in Lake Pointe and have been the head of the Parks Committee since 1999 since they moved into the neighborhood. She has served on many Fundraising Boards and Committees at Lake Pointe Elementary, Lake Travis Middle School, Lake Travis Foundation, St. Gabriels, St. Michael's Catholic Academy and Emmaus Catholic Church. She volunteered to run the Street Retreat at St. Michael's Catholic Academy with the Junior Students, where they took the students to the streets of Austin to learn how to interact and work with the Homeless Community. She continued to do this each Fall & Spring until Covid stopped the activity altogether.

She has always been involved in her Church and her Son's Schools throughout the years.
