Marie-Claire's passion for real estate began while working as an agent throughout the South of France, durning which she founded her own PR and event planning firm, which focused on real estate and luxury lifestyle.
Since joining Corcoran in early 2010, Marie-Claire has successfully negotiated and closed many impressive sales in condos and coops, through out Manhattan's prominent neighborhoods, including in the position as sales director in new developments, like the "Chelsea Modern" and "10 Sullivan.
In just one year Marie-Claire became a member of Corcoran’s prestigious Multi Million Dollar Club and has remained from 2011 onwards, topped by joining the Presidents Circle in 2017.
Well travelled, Marie-Claire has lived in Florence, Milan and Paris, where she worked in the fashion industry; she held positions at Salvatore Ferragamo, John Galliano and Donna Karan. She is fluent in Dutch, German, English, Italian and French.
Marie-Claire’s strong work ethic, education, and business acumen in sales and marketing makes her a highly skilled broker. Her natural sincerity and warmth, and ability to listen, allows her to connect with her customers and enables her to achieve their goal of either selling or acquiring their home.
In 2020 she and Jason Karadus started the Corcoran Country Living Franchise with office in Rhinebeck, Millbrook, Kingston, Woodstock and Hudson.
That same year they formed The Gladstone Karadus Team on which Marie-Claire is the lead agent, the Gladstone Karadus Team includes agents Jesse Kopischke. Awards: Multi Million Dollar Club-2021
