Marissa Barrie

Marissa started her real estate career in 2016 a few months before graduating Louisiana State University with a degree in Public Relations. From 2016 to 2019, Marissa was a successful, full-time Realtor with our team representing buyers, sellers and renters alike. Additionally, she developed and implemented our team’s marketing and social media strategies.

Although Marissa enjoyed real estate, she felt a growing interest for marketing and social media. In early 2019, she accepted a full-time position in the marketing department at Latter & Blum as the Communications Coordinator. In this role, Marissa took her training, marketing, communications and social media skills to a new, higher level. While she enjoyed this role, she longed for a more fulfilling role where she could work directly with people. At the start of 2021, Marissa reactivated her real estate license and rejoined our team functioning as a full-time Realtor on the North and South Shores and handling our team’s website presence.

Marissa’s extensive background in real estate sales, corporate training, real estate marketing, social media management and public relations allows her to provide an “all in one” package, ensuring the absolute best service and results for her clients. In her spare time, Marissa enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring new restaurants and bars, shopping, taking Lagree classes, playing with her dogs, and traveling.
