We were relocating from Florida and were referred to Mark MacBain by what turned out to be pure luck for our family. Mark worked with us from a long distance AND during a pandemic, in this wild real estate market (April 2021).

When I flew to New York to see homes in person, Mark was so knowledgeable about every house and so kind, I felt completely confident in making decisions about our new home. I have never seen his level of communication and professionalism.

Not knowing anyone in a new city is very intimidating, but I feel like I already have a friend in our new city. We would recommend Mark to anyone looking for (or selling) a home in Syracuse.

Whether you're buying or selling Mark pays attention to your needs and concerns. He'll take a call day or night and get an answer to your question immediately. He was knowledgable of the requirements I needed to fulfill my end of the sale, and was very encouraging that the market supported the sale of my home.

We had such a wonderful experience with Mark MacBain! He was so attentive, thorough, prepared, and knowledgeable. We were not the easiest clients, we looked at over 20 homes and he never made us feel rushed. Mark was always there to answer any of our questions and if he didn’t know the answer, he found out for us in a very timely manner! Now, because of him, we are living in our dream home. From the jump Mark was ready to work and gave me all the information i needed and help to me to understand the process before i started. he waited for me to have everything i needed and also what i wanted in a home! he helped all the way to the end and even when it was all done he was still there to help with any questions or even finding someone to fix something around my new home! he is still the go to guy for me and i still tell people when they are ready he is the one to see!!! if i ever want to move again into a new larger home he will be the first person i will call!!! Mark MacBain is a thoughtful kind person. He went above and beyond to make our experience buying a home pleasant and easy. He reassured us after loosing bids on two homes before finding our dream home. He responded within minutes of a call even if it was just to say he was busy at that moment and would contact us ASAP. My partner and I started working with Mark to find a home in Syracuse, New York while living in Florida around the end of November of 2020. We’d had horrible luck and experiences finding a home previously, so we decided to see if we could have good luck with finding a realtor online.

We were put into contact with Mark and he started to help us in a thorough, personable and professional manner right away. Not only was he willing and able to meet up with my partner on short notice while she was traveling in NY, but we had many conversations in which he was able to dig into finding out what we really wanted in a home.

Mark set up many very thorough virtual tours for us, some of them on very short notice. He always made himself available to answer questions, whether it was by phone or by email.

We feel the need to leave this review on every possible social media site since he made it possible for us to find the home of our dreams. Thank you, Mark! We are forever grateful for all your help.
