Good Morning! Just went out for a morning walk and coffee and when we returned there was an awesome Valentine's Day goody box at our door from Crystal Hight. Another unexpected surprise from Crystal and Mark. When we first decided to make the transition to Arizona we connected with Mark Sloat and Crystal Hight through the recommendation of a friend. We never thought that the experience would be as it has been. Professional, Personal, Informative and never......ever.....did we feel under pressure. Although moving across the country and buying a house at this time or any other presents many challenges we were directed at our pace by experts. I was the cross agent on a transaction with Mr Sloat. I have done many transactions in my career and run a large team of over 40 agents in Arizona. I have seen many agents come and go and of all different types. Mark stood out to me from the start with his professional demeanor, communication and down to earth mentality. It’s always a little scary running a deal as most agents don’t get along or have some sort of issue with communication. That was not the case with Mark. He was amazing to work with and a breath of fresh air for me on the transaction. We are now friends afterwards and proof that agents can get along and be professional with each other, even if they work at other brokerages.

Mark and his team were an excellent choice for my home search. I have worked with several realtors over the years and ultimately fired all of them. I can happily say that I will definitely be using the Sloat Group in the future, if i choose to move. He was professional and knows his stuff. There were no 'missed' details, which can ruin a deal. Having experienced real estate fails in the past, it was important that things went well this time. This is the single biggest decision that you will make in your life, and your happiness depends on it. Dont trust the help of a part time agent, or someone you feel obligated to use because you 'grew up together' etc. That is nonsense. Use someone who is genuinely interested in you finding the right place to live. I am probably (definitely) a difficult client, but Mark MADE time to show me properties on my schedule, and if he wasnt able to, he ALWAYS had a member of his team ready to be there. He really helped me get the perfect place. Thank you Mark (and Crystal)!!

Where do I start? Mark and Jennifer at The Sloat Group knew for 2+ years that we were going to be relocating to Arizona. They took the time out of their busy schedules when we would visit on vacation to look at houses so we could familiarize ourselves with the area and what we wanted out of a house. When the time came to make an offer, Mark and Jennifer, were with us every step of the way. They pointed out houses to us, had us look at the detailed aspects of houses and look at everything we could to make the best decision we could make. From the very beginning to the last possible second, Mark and Jennifer would be able to answer every question that we had and even if they did not have the answer at the time they would let us know they were reaching out to previous homeowner to get the answer to our question. They also provided referrals for a mortgage company, painter, landscaper, etc and those other businesses really came through. They have many contacts and extensive knowledge of a new homeowners needs and wants. As long as Mark and Jennifer are at The Sloat Group...they have a life time client. It's been great to see how much The Sloat Group has grown.

Mark Sloat and team provided hands down, the best real estate experience. We used them to both buy our new home and sell our old one.
On the sell side: Mark left no stone unturned. He did a great job making sure out house was appealing to buyers, helping us to decide on the sweet spot for pricing, and even helped create “hype” to drawn in more interest. In the end we got a FULL price offer and sold to the very first visitor.
On the buy side: We ran into some unforeseen issues with the property and former home owner/the other agent made the process unnecessarily frustrating but Mark was there every step of the way. We appreciated that was extremely responsive and so genuine through the whole process. It meant so much that he made us feel like actual people. The buy side was not easily but Mark definitely put in the extra effort to make sure we were informed and happy. I would absolutely recommend using Mark.

Jenn made the home buying experience so amazing! She thoroughly explained every step of the process and made me feel at ease, start to finish. Jenn has great attention to detail that you don’t have to worry about anything slipping through the cracks.
