I have lived in 8 states and moved dozens of times - averaging 5 years per city - mostly because my father was a preacher. This resulted in diversity most people don't experience or grow up with. I went back to school with some flexibility as a sole proprietor, owner of my own business. I earned two associate degrees and finally my bachelor of arts degree. I persistently achieved both certifications in Advanced Certified Paralegal (ACP) - in contract management and contract administration and also Accredited Commercial Professional (ACP). It made sense to get my real estate license since I already had experience in real estate matters at the law office. Over some 15 years I prepared contracts, agreements and other business documents to utilize in the development of business entities for clients or for closing transactions. I gained valuable real estate experience in probate when estate real properties were to be sold. I met the requirements of the title commitment making sure they were satisfied to close the transaction; while at the same time, comply to complex statutory law requirements vital to close the transaction, then attend closing with the court appointed personal representative. Quiet title suits, partition actions, properties to be sold per a divorce decree, and landlord-tenant matters are also added experiences in my repertoire.
