I met Martin through a listing he had. I told him I didn’t have representation and when I was ready to buy I have a friend that lives out of the area that is a real estate agent and my intent was to use her. He was not pushy and asked what I was looking for since he knows the area. He sent me a listing, and I thought it was another street so I told him I didn’t like the narrow street. Once I was ready to buy, I reached out to my friend and she said she would find me someone so I could get the attention I deserved. I've always had an enjoyable experience working with Martin. He has assisted me in the past with other properties, and recently, he helped me sell a property in Fresno. As I reside in San Jose and have a busy schedule, Martin made the entire process seamless for me. He took care of everything from putting up the property for sale to communicating with the tenants and informing them of the sale.
My tenants didn't want to cooperate initially, but Martin worked things out with them and made things work for them and us. Buying a house is very stressful. Especially when you are moving from another state. Martin our realtor made every effort to give us a smooth transition. He answered all our questions and then some. We are very satisfied with Martin. He is considerate, pleasant, easy to work with, patient, and respectful. He is usually readily available when needed, either in person or via text, which made the process relatively seamless. He is connected to resources such as contractors and a plumber, which was convenient for us. We went with Martin’s contractor contact, who did tireless and excellent work. Martin speaks Spanish, so he can communicate well with workers and this also helped bring in a larger pool of potential buyers. He goes above and beyond, which we appreciated, especially since the house we sold was in Merced, but we ourselves lived out of town and thus could only be in-person infrequently. For example, Martin went above and beyond buying a lock for us to secure the house’s electrical box, watering plants, using his personal vehicle for security, and helping us return our security system wifi router, all things we were not available to do because we live out of town. He continually helped us problem-solve. He was trustworthy throughout, and we felt he could be trusted with sensitive information. In general Martin was wonderful to work with.

I would like to share my experience with Martin Villanueva . I went on Zillow looking for an agent to buy a house in Merced. I speak English well but I was looking for someone who was bilingual so my parents who were helping me to buy my first home could feel comfortable with the process.
Martin has been a really reliable person since the first day we texted him to set up a time to see a house he would always respond right away and a couple of hours later he would set up appointments for us to see different properties. We live in San Jose and it takes some time to get to Merced so for us to go see properties the only time we were available was during the weekends. Martin took us to see different houses and we picked one we really liked and he wrote an offer for us that same day. It was the weekend but on Monday he texted us saying he had communicated with the sellers agent. Martin asked the seller to drop their price since the floors of the house needed some work, sellers agreed to it and after the inspections we found out the roof needed a little work too! Martin asked for credit which was really helpful for us. All the process with Martin has been really smooth since he kept communication through the process.
Martin also connected us with financial agency who loaned us the money. Martin and Armando made a list of all the items we needed to turn in to be able to qualify for the loan, the process since we picked the house and we received the keys from our house took about 4 weeks.
We are really happy with our new home, I would use Martin again for the purchase of any other property.
