Mary Kern

A South Bay native and graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in Journalism/Public Relations, Mary is an experienced marketer as well as a real estate broker.

Mary enjoyed a career in marketing & promotions, as well as artist management, in the music industry before obtaining her Brokers license. Working directly with celebrities and top executives in artist management honed her mediation and negotiation skills while her years of grassroots marketing at an independent record label has helped her to excel at giving homeowners superb and specialized service. She credits her marketing and management careers in the entertainment industry for her creativity, attention to detail and ability to focus on clients needs. She offers her clients a marketing plan to get their homes sold at the highest price in the shortest amount of time. As a professional who abides by a strict code of ethics, she provides the highest level of professional and fiduciary representation.

Mary has spent recent years renovating and managing income properties. She has a great eye for seeing the “bones” of house and has the ability to envision a home’s potential. She can see through walls, past carpet and beyond paint colors!

In many ways Mary was raised to be a Realtor, as her mom was a Realtor in the South Bay for over 40 years and she spent many hours after school going to open houses and doing her homework at her mom’s office. She attributes her love of homes and interior design, as well as being observant of the smallest details, to her childhood “training”!

She is an active member of the South Bay Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.

Mary enjoys playing beach volleyball, hiking in Palos Verdes, traveling and watching Trojan Football (Fight On!).
