About Matt

Matt is a lifelong Minneapolis resident. He attended high school at The Breck School, received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Colorado College, and then completed coursework at The College of St. Thomas MBA Program.

As an Independent Sales Associate, Matt started his real estate affiliation with Coldwell Banker Burnet at The Minneapolis Lakes Office in 1983. He joined the management team in 1986 and helped to grow The Lakes Office from a neighborhood boutique into a dynamic regional hub, achieving national recognition with 300 independent associates and a landmark $1,500,000,000 production! Matt then served as President of Coldwell Banker Realty, MN-Western Wisconsin, from the spring of 2017 to the spring of 2023. During that period, he continued to drive growth. He took pride in leading the organization to new milestones, most significantly in the Luxury segment, but he was passionate about supporting homeownership throughout the community. Matt has now gone full circle and has returned to the Lakes Office as a sales associate, excited to bring his depth of knowledge and experience to home buyers and sellers.
