I am a San Antonio native. I first moved to Waco in 2009 while my wife, Karenna, completed her doctoral studies at Baylor. I fell in love with Central Texas as I traveled around the area as a Geek Squad installer. During this 5 year period, I knew Central Texas was a special place.
We relocated to the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee in 2014, where I graduated with my B.A. in psychology from Carson-Newman University. I then worked as a Financial Counselor at 21st Mortgage in Knoxville, where I managed mortgage portfolios.
Our dream to move back home to Central Texas came true when my wife received an offer to be a professor at Baylor University. We are excited to be in such a family-friendly environment.
We enjoy coming home to Waco, where we can relax around town and explore Cameron Park with our two rescue dogs Lila, a 5 year old Yorkshire Terrier, and Roediger, a 7 year old Shih Tzu mix and registered Therapy dog. Roediger can often been seen volunteering his comfort skills with Angel Paws Therapy Dog Teams at Waco Libraries, Providence Hospital, and more.
I am an active volunteer in the community though our mission team at First Presbyterian Church and as part of the cabinet crew for Habitat for Humanity.
I enjoy singing in the chancel choir at my church. I also enjoy hiking, snowboarding, kayaking, and playing in the recreational softball league. I have a passion for music and film.
Karenna and I enjoy traveling the world and experiencing different foods, languages, and cultures, though we are always happy to get back home to Waco after our grand adventures. I enjoy meeting and interacting with people in all walks of life.
I am very excited to be with RE/MAX.
