Megan grew up in a home listed on the National Register of Historic Places, which inspired her interest in history, and her dedication to the preservation of historic properties. She lives in the Oley Valley, an area recognized within Berks County for its fertile farmland and Germanic heritage of stone farmhouses. Additionally, she is committed to the conservation of open spaces because of her love of the local, rural landscape and her belief that it is part of what makes the area so special.

She is also a lifelong equestrian and avid Three-Day Eventing competitor and bring the advantage of a horsewoman’s perspective to the sale or purchase of equestrian properties. She has been riding for 30 years, and has a wide range of experience and resources regarding horse management, and care.
