Melissa Mysing

Melissa first became licensed in real estate in 1983 while helping her mother, Marion Williams, a top producer with Latter & Blum and at the same time commuting to Southeastern Louisiana University. Melissa Mysing's family home was built in Tchefuncta Estates in 1969. Their family was fortunate enough to have been a part of a most unique and wonderful community.

Graduating with a major in accounting and a minor in marketing, she was recruited before graduation by Ernst & Young, the largest accounting firm in the world. Some years later, she branched out and formed her own accounting firm in Covington - Melissa W. Mysing, C.P.A., LLC with offices in Northpark in Covington. Always involved with real estate and experiencing the growth in St. Tammany parish, her twenty year tax practice is a perfect compliment to her real estate transactions.

Melissa believes in a family approach to real estate. Meg Williams, her sister, is also licensed with Latter & Blum and they have been working together in the Latter & Blum office for a number of years. Her husband, Bill Mysing, a real estate attorney with over thirty years experience in real estate law, has his own Title Company, and is also licensed with Latter & Blum. The three of them pooled their resources and formed a professional real estate group, which includes tax free exchanges, business valuations, investment properties with depreciation basis - all go hand in hand.

Melissa's passion is horses. Her and her husband recently sold their 60-acre farm and relocated to Covington. She enjoys rural living, hanging out and relaxing with their animals and trying her hand at growing vegetables and fruit trees.
