Michael Surges

Michael is a Denver native with strong ties to Denver, Englewood, and Aurora. He is a graduate of the well-known Cherry Creek School District as well as Colorado State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with concentrations in IT and Corporate Finance, as well as a Minor in Economics. Upon graduation, Michael was quickly recruited by Shell Oil and moved to Houston where held several IT project management positions. Michael eventually couldn’t resist returning to the climate, culture, and family that Colorado had to offer, and moved back to work with Sling Television where he led several IT development teams in the creation of new software products.

In his personal time, Michael remains the avid soccer player that he was when he was 3 years old and often ventures outdoors to enjoy the beautiful scenery and mountains that Colorado offers. He is well acquainted with the Downtown and DTC areas as well, and can often be found out enjoying the cool air, craft beers, and nightlife that make Colorado living so appealing. Michael also has experience buying and selling homes, and currently owns in both the Dam East and Cherry Park neighborhoods. He takes pride and enjoyment of working on his home to improve its’ value and that of the neighborhood.
