As a 4th generation Denver native and a 2nd generation Realtor, Mick is proud to say he has an in-depth knowledge and expertise of Colorado Real Estate. He has been a Denver Realtor going on 40 years, getting his real estate license in 1979 at the ripe young age of 19. He learned some very important lessons from some of the best in the industry. He worked with his uncle John Kelly at Kelly Realty in Bear Valley and sold all of 2 houses his first year in the business. But he learned a great deal about the business and the importance a Realtor is in the buying and selling process. In November of 1980, he made the move to Moore and Company Realtors where his father Pat Kelly was the managing broker of the southwest office. By 1983, he was a top producer and was chosen to market new homes for Celebrity Homes in Dartmouth Heights, a custom home community in southwest Denver. Based on his success, they hired him in November of 1984 to be the Community Manager in Heritage West in Lakewood as well as to handle their resale business. It is there he learned a great deal about home construction from one of the finest home builders in the Denver metro area. He worked with them until 2002, when he made the decision to open his Metro Brokers office.
While he specializes in custom home marketing and sales, he also excels with first time home buyers, estate sales, and new home sales. When hired to sell your current home, he has an in-depth marketing plan with quality brochures and photographers who make your home stand out amongst the rest. When buying, he has an ongoing system tracking new listings so you never miss out on what might have been the right home for you.
For several years running, he has been honored with the Denver Metro Association of Realtors Excellence Award, recognizing the top 3-5% of all Realtors in our Realtor community. He has surrounded himself with outstanding people who assist in making your transaction as seamless as possible. He is dedicated to his profession and has an outstanding reputation in the Realtor community. He combines enthusiasm and experience in a professional and personal style.
His wife Patty and he have been married 38 years and has three grown children and 3 grandchildren that mean everything to them. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling, golfing, hiking, biking, skiing, and just about everything else that's fun in the great Colorado outdoors.
