Mickey Herzing

Mickey, a native New Yorker, would be the first to tell you that he and his wife truly found their “Forever Home” here in Virginia. Shortly after graduating from Trinity-Pawling Prep School and Ithica College, both in New York State, Mickey married his wife-to-be, Syndee, and they immediately began investing in real estate. Beginning his professional career as a teacher, Mickey always knew his passion was teaching others to better themselves and wanted a way to do so for those not in his classroom. While still teaching in New York, Mickey received his NY Real Estate License, followed a few years later by his NY Real Estate Brokers License. Over his career, Mickey has not only bought, sold and managed over 100 personal residences and rental properties; but has also built numerous residential and commercial properties as well. While still in NY before moving to VA, Mickey acted as the General Contractor and supervised the Construction for the new stores built while he was the Owner/Operator of Big Al’s Convenient Stores. Since moving to VA, Mickey has been involved in the development of not only Residential Single-Family Homes of all price points, but also numerous high-end communities such as Farmington in Forest as well as The Townes at Blackwater Ridge in which Mickey is a Principal Partner/Developer. In addition to being one of the top agents in the area, he also holds an Associate Broker’s License with Mark A Dalton and Company, Inc Realtors in Lynchburg. As a result of these experiences, Mickey possesses a working knowledge of A/R, A/P, P/R, P&L, Projections, Budgets, Inventory Control, as well as several various other functions pertinent to the operation of a successful business.
