About Miki

Miki McCarthy is your Rio South Texas REALTOR® brokered by Texas Premier Realty & focused on residential and commercial sales serving the Rio Grande Valley area in south Texas. Licensed since December 2013, Miki is committed to exceptional service having established an expansive portfolio of real estate listings and maintains a successful track record of closed transactions.

She is currently Designated Supervisor for the Texas Trinity Team since 2020 managing & mentoring a group of exceptional real estate professionals. Joining her at Texas Trinity Team is Ed Gonzalez serving Harris, Brazoria, & Galveston counties in Houston, TX.

In 2019, Miki successfully completed all requirements and education hours to earn her the designation of Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI). She also earned her certification as a Military Relocation Professional (MRP) NAR's e-Pro® certification as well as a Pricing Strategy Advisory (PSA). In 2020, Miki became the designated supervisor for the Texas Trinity Team managing & mentoring a successful group of real estate agents.

Most recently, McCarthy was appointed to serve a second term on the City of Edinburg's Unified Development Code (UDC) Committee. She previously served on the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Edinburg. She is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), the Texas Association of REALTORS® (TR), and the Greater McAllen Association of REALTORS® (GMAR).

Currently, Miki serves on the Bylaws, Budget & MLS committees for GMAR. In 2018 and 2019, she served on the Budget, Public Relations & Membership Committees for the GMAR. She also served five years as Vice Chair for the Tobacco Prevention & Control Coalition serving Hidalgo County.

In addition to being self-employed, Miki has a strong background in economic & community development having worked for several local municipalities. She has non-profit experience having led two economic development corporations. She's had the privilege of co-owning a general construction company with years of experience in project management and entrepreneurial experience.

Miki knows what she’s doing and is very good at what she does, she’s keeps your interests and concerns in mind and work deals like those are unbreakable compromises. She was very accurate on expectations on how fast and at what price the house would sell at, she’s our go-to person with a lot of real estate questions even after we sold our house.
