I’ve served our fellow residents for 27 years in public safety and now I look forward to serving you in all of your real estate needs. My formal education includes many types of certifications in law enforcement where I worked as police officer as well as earning an M.B.A. from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. My previous experience includes labor relations and contract negotiations including a specialty certification in interest-based bargaining. I bring many years of practical contract negotiations experience to the table on your behalf.
While working as a negotiator, I earned a reputation as a very competent and tough negotiator who was willing to go the extra mile to secure the best deal. A former city manager, Jim Coleman, gave me a great piece of advice early in my negotiations career. He told me, “While I disagreed initially with your ideas, your tough persistence and willingness to negotiate will carry you far.” After a rather trying set of negotiations on a contract with a local county, Joe Mayer, the H.R. director, said,” I much rather work with this gentleman that against him.
