Patricia Hedman

Patricia Hedman, “Patty,” is the current Broker/Owner of First Choice Properties. She has spent her entire career in real estate. She earned her real estate license in 1979 when she was just 24 years old and then worked hard to earn her broker’s license in 1986. She is the former Owner/Broker of Richardson & Associates in West Melbourne.

Things changed drastically in 2008 for Patty. Her husband passed and the real estate market crashed. She suddenly found herself a single mother with a young son still living at home. She sold her business, building and all, and went to work for First Choice Properties.

Patty so loved First Choice Properties that 3 years ago she purchased the brokerage. One of the original founders, Linda Stryker, still works at First Choice Properties.

Patty has an Associates of Science degree as a paralegal. She is a Graduate of the Realtors Institute – an accreditation that very few Realtors have. Patty has been a member of the Space Coast Area Realtors’ Association for 38 years. She specializes in helping her clients with buying and selling real estate in Brevard and Indian River Counties.

Patty’s greatest accomplishment is being a proud mother to two wonderful sons, Ian and Caleb, and a devoted grandmother to a precious granddaughter, Coral.
