There are many qualities and skills that go into being an
excellent real estate professional. Integrity, in-depth community and market
knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills, and a high-quality
professional network. All are hallmarks of how we at the Paul J MacDonnell Real
Estate Group work.
That said, in our experience as real estate professionals,
we've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about
putting our clients first. This means keeping accessible, being good listeners
as well as good communicators, and responding quickly to your needs.
On a separate note, many of my clients would like to know
who I am as a person and whom they will be dealing with. I was born and raised
in the San Francisco Bay Area. In my free time away from my clients, I enjoy
hiking in the Sierras, boating in fresh-water lakes, and stargazing with my
telescope with my family and friends. I also am quite entertained with motor
sports and consider myself a gear head.
My Brokerage serves California, Texas, Illinois, and I have
a network to help my clients all over the US and the world. Please ask me if
you need help in another location! It would be a pleasure to match you with
someone in my network.
Prior to my real estate career, I worked for two of the top
general contractors in the United States and the world; Bovis Lendlease
headquartered out of Australia and Webcor Buildings, a Division of Obayashi out
of Japan, specializing in iconic luxury residential high rises, hotels, and
hospital construction in both the San Francisco Bay Area & Chicago. Notable
projects include San Franscisco General Hospital, Santa Clara Valley Med,
Multiple Classified Lockheed Martin Projects, and 640 N Wells in Downtown
Chicago. While working as a Project Engineer & Project Manager in the construction industry, I
would preview homes and multi-family properties on the weekends to study the
market in hopes to one day purchase my own portion of the American Dream. Then,
at the age of 27, with good old sweat equity, I purchased and fixed up my first
property in California.
After this personal success, I decided to obtain my real
estate Broker's license, and went on to sell $4.5 million worth of real estate
in my first year. This later turned into 37 million of sales, investing in my
own properties, and transitioning into owning and operating my own firm.
I truly enjoy guiding and navigating my clients through the
sales process, strategy, and negotiating on their behalf to maximize their
equity in a sale or helping to purchase their dream home.
