When an Agent is more than an Agent.

I imagine in the business of real estate sales, the engagement is often one of extremes - elation at a beginning - the purchase or sale of a home; or sadness as life has taken an unanticipated turn and it is time to move ahead. I was in latter of the two examples.

My late husband and I were in the process of moving to Europe when he unexpectedly passed. Many decisions had to be made.
Unfortunately, I did not have the energy to make those decisions.

Rachel had contacted my husband and I months earlier as we were planning to sale the home before we moved. We were vacillating on the date, so she kept putting us in her tickler, as we requested. On a particularly sad day, and in following up as she said she would, she called me. Her timing could not have been better because - it was time to leave the house I had shared with my husband. I was done.

I lived in a lovely, secluded area in Lafayette. The seclusion and location (off a main street) presented some challenges. Let's just say, Rachel handled them all. It was a long sale that was happening as I was healing. She made the decision process so much easier by providing just the facts and possible next steps.

PERFECT.

Following her lead, I was able to sell the home, get moved and begin my new life less that 30 days after the offer. She facilitated repairs, et al, and I just had to give her the thumbs up, if needed.

This sale was not only the closing of a beautiful chapter of my life, albeit it sad, but the beginning of my new chapter. Who knew I would gain a friend in the process.

Rachel's professionalism and knowledge is what made the deal happen. She never stopped, was always optimistic and I felt totally taken care of in the process. It's like she was ordered by my late husband.

I highly recommend Rachel as you will get more than a professional agent - you will work with an emotionally intelligent individual who will customize a solution for your situation.
