She is from a family of actors. Following her graduation from Palo Alto High School, she went on to study Theater Arts and was accepted into the esteemed American Conservatory Theatre’s Master of Fine Arts Program in San Francisco. During her 20+-year career as a professional performing artist, she freelanced as a choreographer, director and performer. She has performed at highly acclaimed regional theatre companies and has toured with Broadway shows nationally and internationally. Riette believes the Bay Area is one of the most artistically vibrant and culturally diverse destinations in the world.
