While working with the Navy, Robert worked as a realty specialist and during his 20 years of service with the Navy he gained invaluable experiences and training that has served him and his tenants & clients well. His time with the Navy provided him with opportunities to work on complex real estate projects that required an extensive skill set to succeed (knowledge of real estate law, environmental issues, cash flow analysis, advanced negotiation skills, people skills, to name a few) He invested significant time to ensure that he was educated and experienced in all facets of real estate so he could be in a position to provide the greatest value possible to his tenants and clients. The closing of his installation inspired him to begin purchasing and rehabilitating homes in downtown Charleston, which led him into his property management and investment brokerage career. Applying his navy-honed principles of hard work, honesty, and commitment he did things right and tight, quickly attracting the attention of realtors and investors looking to purchase his renovation projects and secure his property management services. This marked the beginning of Jordan Realty, and since that time Robert has worked as a real estate professional in the Charleston area as a property manager, real estate broker, real estate appraiser, and developer/renovator. Robert is a licensed real estate broker and property manager and Certified Housing Development Finance Professional.
