An experienced, Colorado Realtor since 2001, I strive every day to be a shining example of someone who rises above adversity to reach new heights and challenges. Partially paralyzed in a car accident, I'm now a self-described “Wheeltor”, pursuing my real estate career using a wheelchair, technology, and the help of my amazing husband, Gary, and my awesome service dog, Mara! An agent with RE/MAX Nexus since 2015, I've earned the 2017 RE/MAX “Above the Crowd” Award, and the RE/MAX "Executive Club" Award in 2018 and '19.
As a Northern Colorado resident since 1992, I know the individual markets well. I began my real estate career as a buyer’s agent for new construction in Greeley and am now proficient in the buying and selling of existing residential, town homes/condos, farms/ranches, multi-family, vacant land and some commercial.
The spinal cord injury I sustained has allowed me to add another dimension to my real estate career because I, now, better understand the special needs that people, such as myself, may have. I have seen both sides of the coin, as a Realtor, and as a person with a disability seeking affordable, accessible housing and, thus, aim to increase awareness of the issues faced by those with disabilities when it comes to buying and selling a home. I volunteer as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Atlantis Community Foundation in Denver, a 30-year nonprofit dedicated to the creation and management of housing for people with disabilities in Colorado. Together, we are working with a team of others to build both affordable and wheelchair-accessible housing for those in need, our first phase completed October 2020! My vision is that these and other projects will be repeated nationally, due to enormous lack of barrier-free housing that exists.
I love practicing real estate and I truly enjoy getting to know and understand my clients and their needs. Daily, I find purpose in serving others, live by the "golden rule", and am a huge believer in paying it forward and random acts of kindness. My mission is to uphold the highest service standards of my profession, offering prompt and informative communication and a thorough insight to the real estate process. I aim to establish a business relationship based on honesty and integrity so that my clients will experience an enjoyable, individualized, and educational transaction, and I truly look forward to serving those in our community with diverse buying and selling needs.
