Robin Mitchell Hee

Robin, a broker associate for BHGRE Haven Properties, is an Emerald Elite award winner for 2022 ranking in the top 1% of the United States in sales production for the brand Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate. Additionally, she is a Platinum Award Winner for 2021, 2020 and 2019 ranking in the top 2% of the United States for BHGRE. In 2018 and 2017 she was a gold award winner for her previous brokerage. Robin grew up in the real estate business and is a 3rd generation Realtor and Broker Associate. She began working, at a young age, for her parents who had a luxury real estate brokerage in downtown La Jolla. Beginning in 1999, Robin was with a luxury brokerage in Rancho Santa Fe and specialized in representing buyers and sellers in real estate in Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, Solana Beach and her home town of La Jolla. Prior to selling real estate, Robin was in marketing where she produced measurable results where she won an American Advertising Award (ADDY Awards) and a Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Award. The PRSA Award was earned for her work in helping Avila Ranch, a 720 home brand new construction subdivision earn approval from The City of San Luis Obispo Architectural Committee and The San Luis Obispo City Council making a dramatic positive impact on the housing shortage in San Luis Obispo. After a highly successful career in marketing she decided to bring that talent to the real estate world. Robin is a consistent leader with a reputation for tenaciously protecting her clients' interests. She's exceptionally talented at negotiations and with her corporate and marketing agency background brings cutting-edge marketing strategies to her clients. Robin is a graduate of the University of California San Diego and now lives in San Luis Obispo with her husband and four children. Robin's husband, Derrek Hee, is a local team roper and moved to San Luis Obispo in 1986 to attend Cal Poly and compete on the Cal Poly Rodeo Team. He loved the area so much, like many, after graduation has remained living in the area. They have 5 horses and one of Robin's specialties is horse property. Raising 4 children who are currently between the ages of 8 and 24, Robin knows the ins and outs of schools and raising a family in San Luis Obispo County.
Outside of her work in real estate, Mitchell Hee is actively involved in the community. Currently, she is the San Luis Obispo County ambassador for UCSD. Previously, she served on the board for Stand Strong (now named Illumina Alliance) for 6 years and as president for 3 of those years. She also served as the marketing chairperson for Softec, a software and technology association. Previous community involvement also included being a board member for the National Institute for Investor Relations (NIRI) in San Diego and an active advocate for The Children's Resource Network of the Central Coast.
